Your mission

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our passionate team at PaperChill. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our generative AI platform for documents and paperwork. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team. Lead by example, contributing to the codebase and ensuring the team adheres to best practices and coding standards.
Full-stack Development: Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions for our document management application. Work on both frontend and backend technologies, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional user experiences.
Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and deliver robust software solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Problem Solving: Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges. Contribute to architectural decisions and solve complex problems related to software development and integration.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design documents, and code comments. Ensure that the development process is well-documented and accessible to team members.
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Provide guidance and support to help team members grow their skills and expertise.

Your profile

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in full-stack development.
Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Swift) and frameworks (e.g., React, SwiftUI).
Experience with cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and familiarity with microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Prior experience in document management, data privacy, or related domains is a plus.
